About the Artist
My name is Shannon and I live in San Diego, CA with my 15 yo cat, Sophie. Polymer clay was a hobby I was thoroughly obsessed with as a kid, but fell out of when I got older. I picked it up again in summer 2019, and formed Tiny Food Made of Clay (TFMOC) shortly after!
I started selling earrings to friends on Instagram, then friends of friends, then complete strangers found me. I did my first pop-up event in Lander, WY while I was at the International Climber’s Festival, and joined the Ocean Beach Farmers Market later that year. Now I’ve been at the OB Market ever since, and I sell my art at local coffee shops and other community events! I love the community I’ve found and formed through Tiny Food.
You can find me on a regular basis at the Ocean Beach Farmers Market (San Diego, CA) on Wednesdays 4-8 pm, and at the Seahive Station Second Sundays, the 2nd Sunday of each Month in Lot E at Liberty Station (San Diego, CA).
Here at TFMOC, I am the artist, founder, CEO, brand rep, customer service specialist, supply chain coordinator, book keeper, web-master, and merchandiser. A one-woman show! My only employee is my cat, and as you can see, she has taken on more of a supervisor role. Please feel free to reach out via Instagram Dm or email (below) if you have any questions, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!
